Another instalment of STC, this time using a Global Morning Report case from HumanDx. We hope to do more of these as we initiate a collaboration with the Human Dx team.
Here’s a link to the case (only works on your mobile via the Human Dx app): https://www.humandx.org/o/8wz4brfc

Hey team – love your work. Couple of comments on this episode (I’m an adult neurologist):
– Guillian-Barre generally not associated with raised inflammatory markers
– Spinal cord causes of sensory symptoms can be coming from the level corresponding with the symptoms or above – so can definitely get leg symptoms in isolation with a cervical or thoracic cord lesion. Limiting imaging to lumbosacral spine in cases where a central cause is suspected can lead to critical misses.
Keep it up!
